Industrial Chic

The theme in this section is the persistence of life against all odds. Plants - and a few insects - stand in for all life, taking root, growing, blooming and bearing fruit amid the dregs of industrial society. Our discarded paint cans and cinder blocks, where some rain falls and a few rays of sunshine find their way in, beautiful flowers grow on delicate stems. Life is powerful and adaptable, nature takes over where humanity leaves off.  Some see it as post apocalyptic, some just a neglected alley behind an old outbuilding. However you see it, it’s food for thought, grist for conversation, and a feast for the eye.
